Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from taskelio.com (the “Site”).

1. Personal information we collect

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, debit card numbers, PayPal information, Stripe information, as well as information pertaining to all other payment gateways supported on the site), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

Information provided to us. When you register on Taskelio you must provide certain information to us including email address, password, name, user type, ID showing age, student ID, and proof of enrolment documents. We refer to this information as “User Information.”

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking about Device Information, Order Information and User Information.

2. Use of your personal information

We use any identification methods submitted to us to verify that you meet the “seller requirements” to become a seller on our site. This information is used for nothing other than determining if you are an eligible seller or not.

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).  Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

Communicate with you; Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

3. Do not track

We will never sell, transfer or give your information to a third party without your permission. However, you agree that we may use your information:

To enhance or improve our users’ experiences.
To provide our Service to you.
To contact you and to respond to inquiries.
To process transactions.
To register an account and use our Service.

Additionally, we may give your information to law enforcement if we are compelled to by a court order, if there has been a violation of any US laws, EU laws or if a violation of the Terms of Service or Privacy Policy has occurred.

4. Your rights

After creating an account you may be able to edit and/or delete information submitted by contacting support@taskelio.com. However, you will be unable to opt of our data collection practices. If you want your information to be removed from our database please contact the email address above. We will generally endeavor to delete our database of user information at regular intervals, but we cannot guarantee that your information has been or will be deleted immediately. Although some changes may occur immediately, information may still be stored in a web browser’s cache. We take no responsibility for stored information in your cache, or in other devices that may store information, and disclaim all liability of such.

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above.  Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

5. Cookies

We use cookies to save your preferences and to remember your shopping cart. For this reason, you must have cookies enabled in your browser to use our Site and Services. Additionally, some or all of our cookies may be accessible by third parties.

6. Minors

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 16 years old. Subsequently, we assume that all minors have consent from their parent(s) and/or guardian(s) to use this site. Any minors found using the site without permission shall be immediately removed.

7. Changes

You agree that we may disclose your information to authorities if compelled to by a court order. Additionally, you agree that we may disclose your information if we reasonably believe that you have violated a US law or the terms of our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy or if we believe that a third party is at risk of bodily harm. 9. Third Parties

Taskelio may post links to third party websites on our Site or Service, which may include information that we have no control over. When accessing a third party site through our Site or Service, you acknowledge that you are aware that these third party websites are not screened for privacy or security issues by us, and you release us from any liability for the conduct of these third party websites.

Please be aware that this Privacy Policy, and any other policies in place, in addition to any amendments, does not create rights enforceable by third parties. Taskelio bears no responsibility for the information collected or used by any advertiser or third party website. 10. Security Measures

We use SSL Certificates and vulnerability scanning to enhance the security of our Site and Services. However, we make no guarantees as to the security or privacy of your information. It is in our interest to keep our website secure, but we recommend that you use anti-virus software, routine credit checks, firewalls, and other precautions to protect yourself from security and privacy threats.

12. International Transfer

Your information may be transferred to – and maintained on – computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. We may transfer personal information to the United States or elsewhere and process it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

It is your responsibility to ensure you are aware of the most up to date Privacy Policies. You must agree to the amendments as a condition of your continued use of our Site and Service.
